The 2024 Madaraka Festival run of shows is edging closer and closer and the lineup set to be announced any time soon.
As earlier mentioned by festival CEO Simon Okelo, this year’s shows will be up to 50 in number and look to meet up to 150, 000 people physically and 5, 000, 000 people digitally.
The artistes that make up this year’s lineup are set to be announced on Thursday, February 15. The lineup, according to Okelo, will be from diverse backgrounds and genres, all hailing from Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon and South Sudan.
Proceeds from Madaraka Festival go towards One Vibe Africa’s Education Music and Art Program that provides music education across East Africa where it has served over 5,000 youth.
Tickets to Madaraka Festival will be live on the same day as the lineup announcement.
